He pasado un buen rato--tomando té Earl Grey.

  6. Many thanks to you all for your kind comments. As the sun is being kinder to London, I feel that the same spirit should be shared with my fellow bloggers and readers. Three top guitarists for a top Sunday morning.

  10. I love this and in fact one can hear the influence of another of my favourite tunes (kiss my axe by Al Di Meola) in it...

  12. I have heard this so many times -- but never seen a video of them together. They play with such ease it makes me giddy. I want, some day this life, to so something with passion and finesse and look as if it took no work at all. Wouldn't everyone? =o)

    Thanks for sharing this one!

  13. Many thanks to you for your kind comments. Rising, that was a mighty video, my friend, it really was. I have been keen on Al Di Meola for a long time and enjoy his collaborations with other artists. For the last year or so one of the CDs playing on a loop at home or in the car is Aziza Mustafah Zadeh's 'Dance of Fire'. Listen to it, especially the dialogue between the Azerbi pianist and the guitarist. It's spellbinding.

  14. Okay, I'm taking this as a sign. I've been putting off signing up for flamenco dance classes but this helps me remember why I need to! You can't get much better than a eloquent flamenco guitar song. By the way, I have Cuban flavored sounds on my latest post...

  15. Fantastic! I love Spanish guitar music, including the knocking.

John McLaughlin and Al Dimiola? (sp?) Wow, even seeing their names takes me way back in time. Very cool.

  19. Cubano!
