Hi Cuban in London, she is a GENIUS!!! I will be back to listen to her again. Thank you very much!!! Have a good Sunday. Bye :-)

I have to agree with Magdalena: sheer genius -as, I consider, was Elgar. Much underrated these days.

Darlin Cuban your songs always inspire me. What a wonderful piece for such a beautiful Sunday morning here in America. The sun is shining and the birds are singing thier Sunday song in my backyard and darting about my bird baths and feeders.
You should hop across the pond and visit Prince and I. We shall all sit out by our pool in the evening...... listen to the birds, watch my beautiful birds play among our amazing flowers and sip mint juleps as we listen to a little Barry White.......
Perfect evening, no?

The cello is one of my favorite instruments, along with the French horn and classical guitar. This is a wonderful, emotional piece...

Look how young they were!

Many thanks for your kind comments. They had one of those fiery liaisons you can only get between two geniuses who won't budge, no matter what the consequences are. And we all know what happened to her, sadly.

Ahhh, and I before I forget. I prefer the fourth movement, the Allegro ma non troppo, but it wasn't available unfortunately.

There are so many great things about your blog. And one of them is always your music. Music I don't think I would ever hear had I not met you.

Love Renee xoxo

I loved Jacqueline Du Pre ever since I saw Hilary and Jackie. What a sad story... thanks for this, it's always better to remember people at their best.
