Cubano, those are really striking landscape shots. You know I love any water scene. Half A Yellow Sun is absoulutely enthralling. Let me know what you think.
Great photos and nice choice of music to accompany this short trip to Cantabria! Somehow some of those shots, especially the later ones, remind me a bit of the coast of England. Am I obsessed... Thanks!
This is a comment to the previous post, which I missed being busy in the real (?) world.
Thanks for this essay, it feels very relevant. I'm starting a creative writing diploma at Birkbeck this year and I'm very curious where it will take me even though, like I said in my post, I don't take this dream of being a writer too seriously. But if I ever get the stage where I write something that I'll be proud of I'll definitely send it out and like Clive hope for it to be published. Like Elizabeth Gilbert said, it'll be for others to decide whether I'm good or not.
Conoooooo "apretate" que lindo quedó el bar! Oye espectaculares fotos, la música... pasA, como de costumbre. Que siempre da gusto pasar por aquí. ;) saludos, tonin.
I love spain, if I would have to choose another place to live it would be there, although not cantabria, but barcelona, that is where my sister lives. I go there once or twice a year, and cantabria is truly amazing, it has magic in itself. nice photographs by the way M
Many thanks for your wonderful comments. Relyn, it is Diana Krall, just hover the cursor over the speaker symbol and it will come up on the bottom left-hand side corner.
Fly Girl, I am enjoying 'Half a Yellow Sun' so much that I feel guilty when I have to put it down before I go to bed :-).
Wonderful photos depicting where you were. I have never been to Spain, though I would like to go to Andalusia where the Andalusian horses are. It looks like you had a fantastic holiday.
