Gracias, amigo, Glad you liked Francoise and her sweet chant to a dead rose…. Before I learnt about your astrological classification, I had a deep sympathy for you. Now I know why. Thank you for stopping by, comrade! Natalie Thank you for posting Laura Izibor - loved it very much.
This is beautiful and I like the nice lady who commented before me hear a little Janis in her voice. Thanks, you brightened my day Cuban in London (call I just call you Cuban now seeing as how we've known each other for so long, lol??) Take good care and.......
What soul! As I said before, the Irish have a deep-seated soul that seeps through everything. I really loved Laura Izibor's singing and am so glad you alerted me to her. Like you, I was really musically inspired today as well. Check out my post on flamenco fusion star Concha Buika.
Many thanks for all your kind comments. And yes, plain Cuban is fine, or London, as some others call me. Or CiL, which always brings a smile to my face.
CiL .... as you prefer, although Cuban has a definite "sound" to it. If you find the time, I would wish you to come back and read my response to your comment.
Thanks for being around. You are very refreshing to the mind ....
Now that's singin'!!! Thanks for putting me on to Laura Izibor. I love her voice, so throaty. Thanks for visiting me last night. One of my favorite radio programs, that I failed to mention, is on KUT Saturday night from 7 - 9 or 10, 'Twine Time. Lots of great rock & roll and blues from the 1950s & 1960s. It may be MY favorite! One show I miss terribly is "Fem FM" which was produced by a woman (Melissa Ferguson) with all female music for 2 hours every Saturday night after 'Twine Time. Anyway, I hope you check it out. And my Cuban friend check out the link on Angela's website you may like it too. OH, and please let me know a station from London, I'm sure there is wonderful music coming over your airwaves especially if Laura Izibor is even a minute sampling!
Ohhhh Cuban, we agree on almost everything! Glad you liked Estas Tonne - listen to his another amazing performance at Brainwash cafe (Youtube) - you will love it! Be well, Nat
