  1. I absolutely love this song performed by Sting and this version is not bad too! Apparently it comes from one of Sting's not-so-good albums but as far as I'm concerned he can't go wrong.

And I love that recipee in your previous post. Even though I'm not a big fan of prawns it made me want to try them... Thanks!

  6. What a sultry jazz song. I'm a huge Sting fan but I do prefer this version.

  7. As usual, it becomes a Sunday evening song for me.

Very nice, CiL. I always enjoy a visit to your page.

  8. Many thanks for your kind comments. It definitely makes a difference to hear it sung by a French speaker even if the lyrics don't make much sense. It is included in Sting's 'mercury Falling' and you're right, Polly, that it didn't get much attention when it came out. I love it, though. Then again, I am fan, so my opinion is biased. Very biased.

    Greetings from London.

  10. I am a fan of Sting's music but not so much his voice, so this was a treat! That drummer - wow! Smokin'!!

Also loved your last post with the delicious prawns (didn't know you cooked! I love to cook - thank you!) and all the music.

You know I am a serious Bob Marley fan, but even I must admit that Cassandra Wilson's version of Redemption Song is extraordinary. Thank you!
