London Cycle Diaries is both a cycle-based and cycle-orientated series aimed at "discovering" hidden spots in London from the saddle of my Raleigh.

I love your header and I enjoyed the video! I love old places and that image in the video is fantastic. 350 years old? Oh, yes!
ReplyDeleteI imagine all that bike riding keeps you in fine shape.
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting new addition to your blog! It's awesome to hear your voice. :) Like Linda said, I really like your new header, too.
ReplyDeleteLove your header, and your voice. Thank you. You can keep the beer though. All of it.
ReplyDeleteOkay, that settles it, I just finished dinner and was thinking about riding my bicycle down to the marina to watch the sunset.... I'll now bring a beer along!
ReplyDeleteMy "hobby" throughout my adult years has been to examine bars/saloons/nightclubs from within, rather than from without .... unfortunately, in a way, I think it is time for me to devise a new hobby.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photograph and superb commentary, CiL. Keep it up, man ....
Brilliant idea. I enjoyed that and intend to listen to some of the others. What a change from reading blogs.
ReplyDeleteLondon: history in every corner.
ReplyDeleteEven though I, linguistically challenged, prefer reading to listening,
I must say your "audio diary" is very interesting and elegant. :)
Great new header indeed. Wow, sure shows people lover there beer at 350 years old
ReplyDeleteAww. I tried to listen to this and something went wrong with SoundCloud. I'll have to check it out later.
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear your voice, brother. And thanks so much for the history lesson!
ReplyDeleteGreat history lesson and wonderful voice. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to hear your voice! Sometimes I think I disembody words from the man or woman who has written them - so this feels like a gift.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Cycling opens eyes (and makes one thirsty).
ReplyDeleteI love this! Your voice is terrific -- and the masthead picture is fabulous. My youngest son is riding his bicycle all the time, even here in crazy traffic-filled Los Angeles. I hold my breath but encourage him at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHi Mario - lovely to hear your voice again ... very soothing. The history of Truman's Brewery is fascinating too - no doubt an historical record of that part of London over 350 years from the time of the Great Fire. An excellent way of presenting your blog post/s ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI loved hearing you!
