  6. Thank you all for yoru kind comments.

Mrs Ott, 'was'? :-) No, don't kill him yet, dear. The guy might be in 70s, but the concerts he gave in the UK this year have been voted unanimously as the musical highlight of 2008.

  8. Hahaha! Garri, nobody wants to win the bloody Premiership this year, man.

And, by the way, have people noticed that 'Hallelujah' is a song with sexual content in it? Just a thought. Keep well, man.

    Greetings from London.

  9. of course it is full of sexual content!
    that's what makes it better.
but wait, isn't "various positions" the name of cohen's album?
    it's only fitting, i guess.
    just kidding.
great, great song whoever covers it.
bob dylan would have loved to write the all of the song himself.
    nice post, man!
    you rock.

    Salva

  18. A man after my own heart, you are. I adore Leonard Cohen. I did a tribute post in March when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, an honor that was long overdue, in my opinion.

I never tire of this gorgeous song. I've listened to many (many) covers of it, but Rufus's version - as well as K. D. Lang's - is stunning.

Thanks for dropping by my place. Pleasure to meet you.
