Song for an Autumn Sunday Morning
Marisa Monte, Carlinhos Brown, Bebo Valdés and Cézar Mendes - Músico (many thanks to Adriana for this lovely birthday present)
Happy Birthday! Listening to music with friends is a fine way to welcome in another year. It started off my morning with a happy candle-lit glow. Cheers!
What about that? Is it my birthday too?? Three of my must beloved artists in one clip. Totally addictive, yes, and also the kind of thing that makes you emotional. Wait until you see the whole documentary, originally about Bebo, but mostly about the magic of good music and how it transformed the life of a whole neighborhood (and beyond, I know some people in the audience were transformed too). How I wish we could do that with our island! Do you imagine?
