Women resort to scarves. You must know this saying: "Kissing a man without a moustache is like eating an egg without salt."

You list of things that make you happy is delightful, especially during these days of dismal oil-spill news and false exuberance.Mimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13039776441665375475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1165773290907101242.post-56619708623933588702010-05-24T13:26:47.999+01:002010-05-24T13:26:47.999+01:00Many thanks for your feedback. For them I don't think it was about getting in touch with their metrosexual side, I think it was about getting in touch with their age... .without it they look younger.A Mother Alwayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13061214919572800420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1165773290907101242.post-74103689647628059532010-05-24T10:15:38.775+01:002010-05-24T10:15:38.775+01:00Much to ponder here, will have to return. I have ...Much to ponder here, will have to return. I have a red-haired part-caveman part-Viking stored in my house, who possesses one item of facial care: a razor. Shopping for clothes for himself is a circle of hell that Dante missed, as far as he concerned. Would never consider wearing shorts or short-sleeved shirts (has to roll up sleeves of proper ones).
Yet he is the kindest, most considerate, giving and patient man, and a wonderful father. And he has to shave before we go to bed at night, else he's too scratchy. I'm glad to know a little bit more about you and have a sneak peek at the reaons why your posts look as wide-ranged and informative as they do (enjoyed your analysis of metro and uber sexuality today)! You're so right that happiness is a sensation (momentary or not), whereas contentment is a state of mind. And I prescribe (at least aspire to) to the latter.

Thanks for playing along. And no, I won't fall off the blogosphere, like your erstwhile tagger. As long as it's in my hands, I aim to stick around and enjoy the company of all the captivating bloggers that I keep coming across :-).

And as someone who is fighting tooth-and-nail to finish the (hopefully) final revision of her first novel, I totally hear you about losing your inner voice when you read your favorite authors. That is the only thing I lament about this business of writing -- not being able to read as blithely and unselfconsciously as before.Hema Penmetsahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08448481721288158816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1165773290907101242.post-19907587084375574342010-05-24T03:03:04.865+01:002010-05-24T03:03:04.865+01:00What a gratifying, satisfying, interesting read! ...What a gratifying, satisfying, interesting read! I'm pleased to know a little more about you, and it makes me think - not for the first time - that you always come across as very secure in yourself. Not egotistical, just very comfortable.

You have so much to say, Cuban. I wished I loved writing as much as you so obviously do. We do, however, have an unfinished novel in common!

This was a perfect aperitif to my dinner - a thoroughly pleasant way to wait for the bell to ring.Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10892637441668897411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1165773290907101242.post-17621660384634258172010-05-24T02:33:36.196+01:002010-05-24T02:33:36.196+01:00Fascinating as usual - have never been a fan of th...Fascinating as usual - have never been a fan of the hirsuite..but i do like the finely carved and etched facial hair one sees here in Mexico - and Mexican men definitely use far more hair products than i do - at least 10 different types of gel from Radical Ultra onwards..... ...WoW! CubaninLondon, this is one
informative post!
I like a well-kept moustache
and a close beard.
Metrosexual is of course basically
about making money. That said
many men are into the cleansing
routine. And I for one am all
for it.
I've was a teaching assistant
for special needs children before
becoming a teacher and this is a
super-rewarding career.
I truly feel every man and woman
should spend at least one full
school term assisting a special
needs child or an entire classroom,
you learn very quickly what is
important and to be veryvery
thankful. Also, much about
your inner strength.

Thanks for the cool Proud Mary.Cynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10256391836026637655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1165773290907101242.post-84633513215650515702010-05-23T22:48:44.565+01:002010-05-23T22:48:44.565+01:00Lovely list of things that make you happy. Oh, yes!

It's so much advertising, but at least you smell good and are smooth to the touch when you drive your family someplace interesting listening to music!

By the way, I finally got to see Rusell Brand (not knowing who it was) on the David Letterman show and found him smarmy, constantly wiggling one way or another, seemingly anxious in groping for something interesting to say...Letterman seemed quite unimpressed and I have to admit that you were right...unimpressive, worriesome fellow...though I still think his writing about his pathetic, porn filled childhood was interesting in his auto...
cheers and thanksmelissashookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02398008713376655570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1165773290907101242.post-56641814118118649052010-05-23T14:45:14.462+01:002010-05-23T14:45:14.462+01:00I'm sorry to borrow a well-worn phrase but it ...I'm sorry to borrow a well-worn phrase but it seems to fit this post.
